Shannon Christopher Taylor of Roxboro North Carolina a stockbroker registered with BBT Securities LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $36,308.87 in damages on October 31, 2018 based upon allegations that (1) misrepresentations had been made to the customer concerning the terms and conditions of investments and (2) mutual fund transactions failed to be suitable for the customer.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Taylor is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $14,300.00 on October 20, 2017 supported by accusations that when he was associated with Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC, the customer’s account had not been invested according to the customer’s instructions.
On April 27, 2017, Taylor was discharged by Fidelity Investments founded on allegations that trades had not been timely placed by him in customer accounts, and Taylor’s interactions with customers were falsely documented by him within the firm’s records. Taylor’s registration with BBT Securities has been terminated as of February 22, 2018.
