Geoffrey Scott McCash of Worthington Ohio a stockbroker formerly employed by Woodbury Financial Services Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer requested $350,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that the customer was placed in energy sector private placements that were not suitable for the customer. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 18-00199 (Mar. 2, 2018).
FINRA Public Disclosure additionally confirms that on May 11, 2011, McCash was fined $3,000.00 by the State of Ohio Department of Insurance according to a Consent Order containing findings that while McCash was associated with Woodbury Financial Services, he poorly advised a customer in regard to a fixed annuity, in which McCash’s misrepresentation of policy continuation options caused the customer to liquidate the annuity and incur undue tax liability.
McCash has been registered with Woodbury Financial Services since January 28, 2000.
