Robert Scott Nathan of New York New York a stockbroker registered with TriPoint Global Equities LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim where the customer requested $150,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that misrepresentations and unsuitable investment recommendations were made in reference to the customer’s private placement investment in Advance Entertainment II LLC. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 18-02625 (July 31, 2018).
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Nathan is referenced in four additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of his misconduct while employed with Josephthal & Co., Inc., TriPoint Global Equities LLC and Monarch Capital Group, LLC. Particularly, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Nathan’s activities was settled to resolve accusations that to effect over-the-counter equities transactions, Nathan exercised discretion in the customer’s account without written authorization.
On July 25, 2000, another customer initiated investment related complaint regarding Nathan’s conduct was settled for $9,500.00 in damages supported by allegations that unauthorized over-the-counter equities transactions were executed in the customer’s account. Then, on December 29, 2014, a customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Nathan’s activities in which the customer sought $10,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of poor performance relating to the customer’s investment in Fluoropharma Med. Inc.
Then, a customer filed an investment related civil action involving Nathan’s conduct in which the customers alleged that due diligence was not performed by Nathan in reference to customers’ investments in private placements. Civil Action No. 1-17-cv-01962 (Mar. 20, 2017).
