Thomas Jacob Ciolek of Franklinville, New York, a stockbroker registered with LPL Financial LLC, has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity because Ciolek failed to testify when FINRA investigated the stockbroker for possible violations of FINRA rules. Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent No. 2021070741901 (November 7, 2022).

According to the AWC, on October 28, 2022, Ciolek was sent a request by FINRA to appear for testimony concerning allegations that he had electronically signed account documents for customers in violation of company policy. On October 31, 2022, Ciolek acknowledged to FINRA that he had received its request and confirmed that he would not appear for testimony at any time. Therefore, Ciolek violated FINRA Rules 2010 and 8210.

Ciolek was associated with Invest Financial Corporation in Dansville, NY, as a stockbroker from February of 2013 to February of 2018, and was associated with LPL Financial LLC in Franklinville, NY, as a stockbroker from February of 2018 to March of 2021. On February 19, 2021, LPL Financial LLC discharged Ciolek based upon allegations that Ciolek failed to comply with the securities broker dealer’s policies.
