Eddy C. Chou of San Francisco, California, a stockbroker registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC, has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity because Chou failed to respond to FINRA’s request for information. FINRA Case No. 2021071392801 (August 26, 2022).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Chou was issued a Notice of Suspension letter on May 23, 2022, and a Suspension from Association letter on June 16, 2022, for failing to comply with FINRA’s request for information. The stockbroker had three months from the Notice of Suspension date to satisfy FINRA’s requests or otherwise seek that the suspension be lifted. FINRA states that Chou was automatically barred because he failed to respond by the August 25, 2022 deadline.

Chou was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC in San Francisco, CA, as a stockbroker from November of 2018 to May of 2021, and was associated with Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC in San Francisco, CA, as a stockbroker from December of 2016 to December of 2018. On April 14, 2021, Chou was terminated for violation of company policies related to conducting securities business with U.S. citizens living abroad.
