Ronald Frank Loeb of Bloomfield Hills Michigan a stockbroker formerly registered with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner Smith Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which settled for $15,000.00 on June 9, 2018 founded on accusations that Loeb made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning municipal bond investments and made misrepresentations to the customer concerning those securities.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that Loeb is referenced in four additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of Loeb’s violative conduct while employed with Merrill Lynch. In particular, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Loeb’s activities was resolved for $10,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that Loeb executed unsuitable securities transactions in the customer’s investment portfolio. New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Arbitration No. 1995-005219 (Oct. 15, 1996).

Subsequently, on April 22, 2003, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Loeb’s conduct was settled for $19,483.00 in damages based upon allegations that Loeb was liable for the losses that the customer incurred from investing in Tyco Investment equities. On April 25, 2005, another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Loeb’s conduct where the customer requested $30,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that while Loeb was the customer’s financial advisor, he made poor investment recommendations to the customer concerning corporate debt investments held in the customer’s account.

Thereafter, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Loeb’s activities was resolved for $95,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that misrepresentations had been made to the customer, and the customer had received faulty investment advice. FINRA Arbitration No. 12-01173 (Apr. 29, 2013).

Loeb’s registration with Merrill Lynch was terminated on January 9, 2017.
