Ronald James Knight (also known as Ramone Knight) of Timonium Maryland a stockbroker formerly registered with NYLife Securities is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $128,351.26 on April 10, 2018 based upon allegations of the stockbroker having failed to repay a NYLife Securities LLC customer after borrowing funds from the customer.
This is not the first time that Knight has been referenced in an investment dispute over his wrongdoing relating to borrowing. FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that on April 9, 2018, a customer initiated investment related complaint regarding Knight’s activities was settled for $207,941.33 in damages founded on accusations that the NYLife Securities customer’s funds were borrowed by the stockbroker and never paid back. The complaint also alleges that the customer’s signature had been forged on checks.
FINRA Public Disclosure also confirms that Knight has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity supported by consenting to findings of Knight’s misuse of funds while employed by NYLife Securities in violation of FINRA Rule 2010. Knight was registered with NYLife Securities between January 17, 2008 and April 4, 2017.
