Michael Joseph Kane III of Allen Texas a stockbroker currently registered with BBVA Securities Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on October 7, 2018 where the customer sought $235,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that (1) misrepresentations had been made by the stockbroker concerning certificate of deposits and (2) the customer had been defrauded by purchasing investments through Kane during the time that Kane was employed by BBVA Securities Inc.
FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Kane is referenced in two more customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of his violative conduct when he was associated with BBVA Securities Inc. Specifically, on March 17, 2017, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Kane’s conduct which was resolved for $11,259.00 in damages based upon allegations that false or misleading statements had been made by Kane concerning index linked certificate products sold in September of 2016.
On November 27, 2017, another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Kane’s conduct in which the customer requested more than $5,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that the structured notes sold by Kane in 2017 were wholly inappropriate given the customer’s liquidity needs at that time.
Kane has been employed by BBVA Securities Inc. since November 12, 2015.
