Michael David Zeran, of Marion, Iowa, a stockbroker registered with Bancwest Investment Services, Inc., has been fired on July 12, 2016, supported by allegations that an investigation into Zeran’s business activities revealed that he engaged in short-term trading of mutual funds in customer accounts and mismarked investment transactions as unsolicited, causing the firm to lose confidence in Zeran.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that on November 22, 2010, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Zeran’s conduct, where the customer alleged that omissions were made with respect to withdrawal penalties and commissions that would be assessed to the customer, and misrepresentation had been made regarding the yields of mutual funds during the time that Zeran was associated with Bancwest Investment services, Inc.
Since June 29, 2017, Zeran has been associated with Corecap Investments, Inc.
