Michael Carleton Boothe (also known as Carleton M. Boothe), a stockbroker formerly registered with International Assets Advisory LLC, is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought more than $5,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of Boothe’s breach of contract and negligence relating to direct investments, including limited partnership (LP) interests and direct participation program (DPP) interests while Boothe was associated with International Assets Advisory. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-02759 (November 8, 2021). The claim alleges breach of contract and unsuitable investment recommendations.
FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Boothe has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of his harmful activities while employed by International Assets Advisory. On February 22, 2018, a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Boothe’s conduct in which the customer requested $20,000.00 in damages based upon allegations of losses caused by Boothe’s unauthorized real estate investment trust (REIT) trades and stock trades during the time that he was employed by International Assets Advisory.
Boothe is also identified in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim which was settled for $32,500.00 in damages founded on accusations of negligence and FINRA rule violations relating to common and preferred stock trades by Boothe. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-00439 (April 23, 2019). According to the claim, Boothe breached a fiduciary duty and breached a contract relating to his stock trading at International Assets Advisory. The claim also alleges fraud.
On April 16, 2021, another customer initiated investment related arbitration claim concerning Boothe’s conduct was resolved for $60,000.00 in damages supported by allegations including negligent and unsuitable direct investment transactions. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-00785. According to the claim, the customer sustained damages from a breach of contract and fraudulent transactions.
