John Perrin Kellar of Fort Lauderdale Florida a stockbroker currently employed by Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on April 23, 2018 in which the customer requested damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 founded on accusations that the customer was placed in unsuitable certificate of deposit investments between January 29, 2018 and April 12, 2018.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Kellar has been identified in four customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of his violative conduct during the period that he was registered with Wells Fargo, Wachovia Securities, LLC and Dean Witter Reynolds. Particularly, on January 5, 1999, a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Kellar’s conduct where the customer sought more than $5,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that stock investments had not been accurately represented.
Thereafter, Kellar was subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer was awarded $90,600.00 in damages based upon Kellar having been found liable for making unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning equities products. National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Arbitration No. 04-00683 (Mar. 31, 2005).
On April 17, 2008, another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Kellar’s activities where the customer requested $6,826.27 in damages based upon allegations that unsuitable investment recommendations had been made to the customer, and the customer’s assets, unbeknownst to the customer, had been placed in a variable annuity instead of an individual retirement account. Another customer filed an investment related arbitration claim concerning Kellar’s conduct in which the customer alleged that funds had been stolen from the customer’s account and trades had been effected in the customer’s account on an excessive, unauthorized and unsuitable basis.
