Jason Eric Zwibel (also known as Jay Bell Zwibel), of Wellington, Florida, a stockbroker registered with Garden State Securities Inc., was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $12,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zwibel made unsuitable recommendations and breached his fiduciary duties in connection with the sale of mutual funds and stocks when Zwibel was associated with Garden State Securities Inc. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-02085 (June 29, 2020).
FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Zwibel is referenced in four other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Zwibel’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On November 22, 2000, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Zwibel’s conduct in which the customer requested $65,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zwibel engaged in the unauthorized trading of over-the-counter equities when Zwibel was associated with Josephthal Co. Inc.
Zwibel was also referenced in a FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $50,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zwibel was negligent, breached his fiduciary duties, made misrepresentations of material fact, and failed to supervise certain registered representatives’ recommendations of CMOs when Zwibel was associated with Brookstreet Securities Corporation. FINRA Arbitration No. 07-01346 (May 19, 2008).
On November 29, 2018, a FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Zwibel’s conduct was settled for $110,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zwibel made unsuitable recommendations, was negligent, and breached his fiduciary duties in connection with the sale of over-the-counter equities when Zwibel was associated with Garden State Securities Inc.
