Jay Allan Ambroson of Garden City New York the president and chief compliance officer of Gould Ambroson Associates Ltd. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim where the customer requested $970,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that Ambroson was liable for negligent supervision and conversion of the customer’s funds relating to the customer’s investment in private securities. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 18-02095 (June 7, 2018).
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that another customer filed an investment related arbitration claim concerning Ambroson’s activities in which the customer sought $850,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that Ambroson, inter alia: breached a fiduciary duty to the customer; negligently supervised activities involving the customer’s assets; breached his contractual duties; and placed the customer in securities that were in no way suitable for the customer. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-02030 (June 1, 2018).
Ambroson’s registration with Gould Ambroson Associates Ltd. has been terminated as of July 23, 2018.
