Daniel James Lauletta, of Valley View, Ohio, a stockbroker formerly registered with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, has been named in a customer initiated investment related civil action on February 18, 2015, in which the customer requested $455,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lauletta breached his contractual duties to the customer, and engaged in negligent activities with regard to the customer’s insurance policy.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Lauletta has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while associated with Ameriprise Financial Services. Particularly, Lauletta was named in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on February 13, 2014, in which the customer requested $21,775.47 in damages based upon allegations that Lauletta failed to disclose penalties that the customer would incur by liquidating a variable annuity.
Subsequently, on October 6, 2014, a customer initiated investment related written complaint involving Lauletta’s activities was settled to resolve allegations that Lauletta effected exchanges of the customer’s variable annuities into fixed indexed annuities, despite Lauletta’s failure to obtain the customer’s consent. Subsequently, on February 5, 2016, a customer initiated investment related civil action involving Lauletta’s conduct was settled for $18,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lauletta failed to timely sell the customer’s position in a Behringer Harvard Real Estate Investment Trust, causing the customer to incur investment losses.
Lauletta’s registration with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC was terminated as of September 6, 2016. Since March 25, 2017, he has been registered with MML Investor Services, LLC.
