Fernando Corcuchia, of San Francisco, California, a stockbroker registered with NYLife Securities LLC, has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity because Corcuchia failed to cooperate with a FINRA investigation. Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent No. 2023078612801 (April 12, 2024).

On May 12, 2023, NYLife filed a Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (Form U5) disclosing that Corcuchia had been allowed to resign following a review of his business practices, which revealed that he had violated company policy, including among other things, that he submitted an electronic life insurance application for an unrelated customer without her authorization or consent, used his personal bank accounts as client accounts.

During an investigation related to the circumstances that led to the filing of Form U5 by NYLife, FINRA, on February 23, 2024, requested that Corcuchia appear for testimony according to FINRA Rule 8210. Corcuchia confirmed via email to FINRA on March 15, 2024, that he received the request but would not appear for testimony at any time. By refusing to testify, Corcuchia violated FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010.

Corcuchia was associated with Prudential Securities LLC in Newark, New Jersey from April 19, 2023, to September 22, 2023.
