Anthony Glenn Hall of Dayton, Texas, a stockbroker formerly registered with Edward Jones, is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on December 18, 2020, in which the customer requested $300,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that funds were “improperly removed” from the customer’s account when Hall was registered with Edward Jones. The Complaint alleges forgery of the customer’s signature.
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Hall has been identified in two more customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his wrongdoing while employed by Edward Jones. On December 16, 2019, a customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Hall’s conduct was resolved for $130,000.00 in damages supported by accusations of the customer’s funds being “borrowed” by Hall’s spouse without the customer receiving repayment.
Hall is identified in another customer initiated investment related written complaint which was settled for $174,427.75 on December 10, 2019, founded on allegations of an arrangement where Hall’s spouse failed to repay funds that were “borrowed” from the customer.
Hall has been barred from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity based upon findings that he failed to cooperate with an investigation in which FINRA tried to determine if he violated regulatory rules by settling customer disputes away from Edward Jones. According to the AWC, FINRA learned that Hall was discharged by Edward Jones supported by accusations of him settling disputes centered on his loan arrangements. The securities broker dealer indicated that the loans involving Hall’s wife were not disclosed to the firm. The AWC states that on February 18, 2020, Hall was asked to provide documents and information. By March 19, 2020, Hall indicated that he would not cooperate. Hall violated FINRA Rules 2010 and 8210 by impeding FINRA’s investigation.
Hall was employed by Edward Jones between August 1, 2008, and September 11, 2019.
