Edward Carchia Jr. (also known as Ed Carchia and Edward Karchia), of Paramus, New Jersey, a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested damages based upon allegations that Carchia made the unsuitable investment recommendation of exchange traded funds or “ETFs” during the time that Carchia was associated with Morgan Stanley. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Carchia is referenced in two other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Carchia’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On September 21, 2013, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Carchia’s conduct was settled for $30,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Carchia engaged in unsuitable trading in mutual funds when Carchia was associated with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
On April 11, 2017, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Carchia’s conduct was settled for $20,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Carchia made the unsuitable investment recommendation of government bonds. FINRA Arbitration No. 16-00873.
Carchia was associated with Morgan Stanley in Paramus, New Jersey from June 1, 2009, to July 21, 2022.
