Thomas J. Dailey, of Youngstown, Ohio, a stockbroker with Sterne Agee Financial Services, Inc., is subject to a pending customer dispute from December 7, 2015, in which a customer requested $500,000.00 in damages in connection with allegations against Dailey of making misrepresentations to customers regarding Florida Capital Real Estate Partnerships. The customers alleged to have lost money in connection with the investments.
Disclosure records reveal that Dailey previously settled a customer dispute on March 28, 2013, in which the customer received $64,000.00 in damages after alleging that a Florida Capital Real Estate Partnership in which he purchased was not suitable.
Joseph C. Alexander, of Birmingham, Alabama, a stockbroker with Sterne Agee Financial Services, Inc., is currently subject to a pending customer dispute from February 29, 2016, in which the customers alleged that between 2011 and 2015, Alexander placed the customer’s investments in investments that were not suitable.
Alexander previously settled a customer dispute for $100,000.00 on October 3, 2005, after several customers claimed that Alexander informed them that investment funds purchased by the customers were backed by the United States government, when such was not the case.
