Barry W. Lemay, a stockbroker with Concorde Investment Services, LLC, is currently subject to a pending customer dispute from July 29, 2016, in which a customer has requested $2,822,797.02 in damages in connection with allegations against Lemay of breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and unsuitable recommendations stemming from tenancy in common investments.
FINRA Public Disclosure records reveal that Lemay has also been subject to nine other disclosure incidents. On May 29, 2009, Lemay settled a customer dispute for $150,000.00 after he was alleged to have defrauded the customer in the course of the customer’s purchase of a private placement investment. On July 21, 2010, Lemay settled a customer dispute for $299,000.00 after a customer alleged that Lemay committed negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and made misrepresentations to the customer.
On December 6, 2010, Lemay settled a customer dispute for $10,977.55 amid allegations against Lemay of engaging in unauthorized stock transactions in the customer’s account. Lemay also settled a customer dispute for $255,000.00 on February 17, 2015, after the customer alleged breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and unsuitable investment recommendations.
