Cletus Enyinia Emeziem is a stockbroker formerly registered with SCF Securities Inc. who has been discharged by the firm on based upon allegations that Emeziem engaged in a pattern of trading in customer accounts on an excessive basis.
This is not the first time that Emeziem has been discharged by a FINRA member firm for misconduct. Specifically, Emeziem’s previous employer, LPL Financial LLC, discharged Emeziem on January 15, 2015 supported by accusations against Emeziem of excessive trading of equities in the firm’s customer accounts.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure also confirms that Emeziem is referenced in two customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of Emeziem’s misconduct. Specifically, on October 12, 2007, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Emeziem’s conduct was settled for $8,728.11 in damages founded on accusations that while Emeziem was associated with Chase Investment Services Corporation, he failed to abide by the customer’s instructions pertaining to managed account investments.
On January 9, 2013, another customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Emeziem’s activities where the customer sought $13,449.97 in damages supported by allegations that while Emeziem had been associated with Wells Fargo Investments, LLC, the customer was misled concerning the guarantee of principal pertaining to the customer’s investment in a Dividend Capital Investment over a four year period.
Since November 11, 2015, Emeziem has been employed by TradingBlock.
