Claire Cofer Friedrichs (also known as Claire Cofer Richmond and Claire Friedrichs Taylor), of Mandeville, Louisiana, a stockbroker registered with Raymond James Associates Inc., has been discharged by the securities broker dealer on August 11, 2021, based upon allegations that Friedrichs attempted to allocate a trade error involving market losses to customer accounts.
Public Disclosure also shows that Friedrichs is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related NASD securities arbitration claim more than 20 years ago that was settled for $42,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Friedrichs was negligent, made misrepresentations, violated state securities laws, violated NASD rules, breached a contract, and made the unsuitable investment recommendation of mutual funds when Friedrichs was associated with Salomon Smith Barney. On August 16, 2013, a customer initiated investment related civil action involving Friedrichs’s conduct was settled for $75,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Friedrichs made unsuitable investment recommendations in variable annuities when Friedrichs was associated with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner Smith Incorporated.
