Bernell D. Baker, of Eagle Mountain, Utah, a stockbroker registered with LPL Financial LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested damages based upon alleged the unsuitable investment recommendation of real estate securities during the period that Baker was associated with LPL Financial LLC. FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00611 (March 18, 2024).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Baker is referenced in three other disputes concerning Baker’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On August 1, 2013, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Baker’s conduct was settled for $17,799.00 in damages based upon alleged misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of mutual funds when Baker was associated with Chase Investments Services Corp. (now known as JPMorgan Securities LLC).

On August 9, 2017, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Baker’s conduct was settled for $9,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable recommendations and misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of variable annuities when Baker was associated with LPL Financial LLC.

Baker was also referenced in a customer complaint filed on March 24, 2021, in which the customer requested $48,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable investment recommendations of business development companies (BDCs) during the time that Baker was associated with LPL Financial LLC. The complaint was withdrawn on May 5, 2021.

Baker has been associated with LPL Financial LLC in Eagle Mountain, Utah, since November 12, 2012, as a stockbroker and investment advisor representative.
