Benjamin Philip Brown of Bloomington Illinois a former State Farm VP Management Corp registered representative has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity founded on accusations that he failed to cooperate with FINRA’s request for his information. Case No. 2017054972901 (Dec. 22, 2017).

FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that FINRA suspended Brown on October 13, 2017. FINRA apparently provided Brown until December 21, 2017 to provide information that FINRA requested or otherwise seek the termination of his suspension; however, Brown failed to correspond with the regulator. FINRA automatically barred Brown on December 22, 2017.

Three months prior to FINRA’s suspension of Brown, on June 26, 2017, he was terminated by State Farm VP Management Corp supported by allegations that he violated the firm’s procedures concerning customer payments and funds.

Moreover, Brown is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on June 30, 2017 in which the customer sought unspecified damages based upon accusations of misstatements being made concerning a prospective life insurance policy.
