Zvi Yehuda Rosenzweig (also known as Yudi Rosenzweig), of Southfield, Michigan, a stockbroker registered with MML Investors Services LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on September 18, 2023. The customer alleged that in 2016, Rosenzweig advised him to redeem his variable annuity to fund a whole life insurance policy. The customer alleged misrepresentations of material fact and that he should not have been advised to redeem the annuity. The dispute was settled on April 10, 2024, with MML Investors Services paying $35,000.00 to the customer. Civil Action No. 2024-204928-CZ.
On November 5, 2020, another customer initiated investment related dispute was filed, in which the customer alleged unsuitable recommendations in variable annuities. The complaint alleged that the customer could not access her money without incurring a surrender charge. On November 20, 2020, MML Investors Services denied the complaint.
Additionally, a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on July 3, 2008, alleged that Rosenzweig failed to disclose fees and charges when replacing a variable annuity with an equity index annuity. This case was closed with no further action taken by the customer.
