Joseph Anthony Zarlenga of Bradenton Florida a stockbroker currently registered with Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on February 5, 2018 where the customer sought $40,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that misrepresentations had been made to the customer concerning the performance of the customer’s exchange traded fund and mutual fund investments.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure additionally confirms that on August 27, 2004, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Zarlenga’s activities in which the customer requested at least $5,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that while Zarlenga was associated with American Express Financial Advisors Inc., mutual fund trades were effected in the customer’s account that were not suitable for the customer. Apparently, the customer’s class A mutual fund investments were liquidated to purchase other investments, resulting in a sixteen percent loss of principal.
