Yin Yvonne Zhong (also known as Yvonne Zhong), of Milpitas, California, a stockbroker registered with Ni Advisors, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $15,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zhong breached her fiduciary duties, was negligent, and made unsuitable recommendations in GWG Class L-bonds during the time that Zhong was associated with Ni Advisors. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-01153 (June 19, 2023).

This is not the first time that Zhong has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning her conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Zhong was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on April 6, 2018, in which the customer requested $25,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zhong misrepresented material facts in connection with the sale of a real estate security when Zhong was associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC.

On April 6, 2023, a different customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Zhong’s conduct was settled for $112,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Zhong recommended unsuitable GWG L-Bonds while associated with NI Advisors from 2019 to 2021. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01149. The claim also alleged breach of contract and failure to supervise certain representatives.

Zhong was associated with Ni Advisors in Milpitas, California, from February 22, 2018, to December 11, 2023. Prior to this, Zhong was associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC in Cupertino, California, from September 25, 2017, to March 7, 2018.
