Scott Cory Ente of Syosset New York a stockbroker currently registered with David Lerner Associates is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of Ente misrepresenting information pertaining to Puerto Rico bonds when he was employed by David Lerner Associates. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 20-03910 (December 8, 2020).
This is the second dispute regarding allegations of Ente’s sales practice violations at a securities broker dealer. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that on December 21, 2020, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Ente’s activities was settled for $300,000.00 in damages supported by accusations of breach of fiduciary duty by Ente as it pertained to his sale of municipal bonds for the customer’s David Lerner Associates account. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-00048. According to the claim, municipal bonds were not suitable and had been misrepresented by Ente.
Ente has been registered with David Lerner Associates since August 23, 1995.
