Scott Allen Damico of Irving Texas a stockbroker registered with Capital One Investing LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint on January 30, 2019 where the customer sought no less than $5,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that the customer was steered by Damico towards purchasing an investment that failed to meet the customer’s income needs and which was not offered through Capital One Investing.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Damico is referenced in six more customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his wrongdoing while associated with securities broker dealers including Capital One Investing. On January 5, 2017, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Damico’s conduct was settled for $22,207.04 in damages based upon allegations that the Capital One Investing customer was led by Damico to believe that principal would be protected and that investments would generate three percent annual returns.

On January 23, 2017, a customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Damico’s activities was resolved for $19,956.84 in damages founded on accusations of the customer being misled by Damico in regards to principal protection on investments held in the customer’s managed account during the time that the stockbroker was employed by Capital One Investing. Damico is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint which was settled on January 23, 2017 for $51,026.29 in damages supported by allegations that the customer’s assets were placed in investments whose liquidity had been misrepresented by Damico. The claim also alleges that Damico misrepresented the fees and expected performance of the customer’s managed account investment.

On March 13, 2017, another customer initiated investment related complaint in reference to Damico’s conduct was resolved for $24,598.47 in damages based upon accusations of the customer being guaranteed a three percent rate of return on investments sold by Damico while the stockbroker was associated with Capital One Investing.

Damico’s registration with Capital One Investing has been terminated as of November 3, 2016. Between February 22, 2017 and October 17, 2017, Damico was registered with Pruco Securities LLC.
