Robert Lloyd Omohundro, of Atlanta, Georgia, a stockbroker registered with Centaurus Financial Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested damages based upon allegations that Omohundro made the unsuitable investment recommendation of real estate securities when Omohundro was associated with Centaurus Financial Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-03450 (January 5, 2024).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Omohundro is referenced in five other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Omohundro’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On August 3, 1998, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Omohundro’s conduct in which the customer requested $45,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Omohundro made unsuitable margin trade recommendations to generate commissions when Omohundro was associated with Centaurus Financial Inc. The complaint was denied.

On June 21, 2005, a FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Omohundro’s conduct was settled for $25,000.00 in damages. The claim alleged that Omohundro engaged in unauthorized and unsuitable trading in over-the-counter equities and mutual funds during the time that Omohundro was associated with JW Genesis Financial Services Inc. (Wachovia Securities Financial Network LLC). FINRA Arbitration No. 05-022995.

Omohundro was also referenced in a complaint filed on November 21, 2011, in which the customer sought compensation based upon allegations that Omohundro misrepresented information about a retirement management account when Omohundro was associated with MML Investors Services LLC. The complaint was denied.

On March 28, 2016, a customer initiated a FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Omohundro’s conduct. The claim was settled to resolve allegations that Omohundro breached his fiduciary duties, breached a contract, violated Georgia Uniform Securities Act, violated federal securities laws, was negligent, made unsuitable recommendations, and made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of real estate securities when Omohundro was associated with J.P. Turner Company LLC and Centaurus Financial Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 15-02551.

Omohundro was also referenced in a FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $5,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Omohundro made unsuitable recommendations and overconcentrated their money in real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-00883 (September 14, 2022).

Omohundro was associated with Centaurus Financial Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia from March 24, 2015, to April 30, 2020. He has been associated with Alexander Capital, L.P. in Atlanta, Georgia since May 1, 2020, as a stockbroker, and since May 7, 2020, as an investment advisor representative.
