Robert T Li of Naperville, Illinois, a stockbroker registered with LPL Financial LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Li made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities and stocks when Li was registered with LPL Financial LLC. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-02910 (January 6, 2023). According to the claim, the investment recommendations were not consistent with the customer’s risk tolerance or investment objectives.
This is not the first time that Li has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Li’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Li is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on January 28, 2002, in which the customer requested $49,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Li failed to follow instructions concerning the allocation of the customer’s funds when Li was registered with Prudential Securities Incorporated. The securities broker dealer closed out the complaint without a resolution.
On January 5, 2023, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Li’s conduct in which the customer requested $75,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Li made unsuitable recommendations of stocks when Li was registered with LPL Financial LLC. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02909. The claim alleges that the stockbroker’s recommendations conflicted with the customer’s risk tolerance and investment objectives.
Li has been registered with LPL Financial LLC stockbroker and investment advisor representative since August 5, 2003.
