Robert Michael Gianchiglia of Worcester, Massachusetts, a stockbroker registered with Ameritas Investment Corp., was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled to resolve allegations that Gianchiglia made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the recommendation and sale of private placements when Gianchiglia was associated with Ameritas Investment Corp. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-03388 (October 29, 2020).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Gianchiglia is referenced in five other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Gianchiglia’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers, including New England Securities and Ameritas Investment Corp. On December 28, 2003, a complaint involving Gianchiglia’s conduct was settled for $116,569.00 in damages based upon allegations that Gianchiglia failed to deliver an investment contract during the time that Gianchiglia was associated with New England Securities.

On April 15, 2013, another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Gianchiglia’s conduct in which the customer requested $1,617,800.00 in damages based upon allegations that Gianchiglia made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the recommendation and sale of variable annuities when Gianchiglia was associated with Ameritas Investment Corp.

Gianchiglia was also referenced in a complaint filed on November 10, 2014, in which the customer requested $105,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Gianchiglia made misrepresentations of material fact and made unsuitable recommendations of direct investments and oil and gas investments.

On October 15, 2018, another FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Gianchiglia’s conduct was settled for $45,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Gianchiglia was negligent, breached his fiduciary duties, breached a contract, made misrepresentations of material fact, made unsuitable recommendations, and failed to supervise certain registered representatives’ recommendations of direct investments (DPPs and LPs) at Ameritas Investment Corp. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-00693.

Gianchiglia was associated with Ameritas Investment Corp in Lincoln, NE, as an investment advisor representative from September of 2005 to May of 2017, and was associated with Ameritas Investment Corp in Worcester, MA, as a stockbroker from August of 2005 to May of 2017.

Gianchiglia has been associated with USA Financial Securities Corporation in Worcester, MA, as a stockbroker since April 18, 2017, and has been associated with USA Financial Securities Corporation as an investment advisor representative since April 19, 2017.
