Michael Murphy Hurtgen, of Greenwood Village, a stockbroker formerly registered with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., was terminated by his firm and affiliate Raymond James Financial Services Advisors, Inc. on February 23, 2016, based upon allegations that he solicited investors’ interest in a private placement. The firm indicated that the private placement was connected to a business activity outside of the firm’s auspices, and was not authorized by the firm to be solicited by Hurtgen.
Since March 8, 2016, Hurtgen has been associated with Girard Securities, Inc.
