old man worried

Raul Jorge Benitez of Aventura Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with SunTrust Investment Services Inc. has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $8,486.24 on March 11, 2019 founded on allegations that the customer had been provided with unsuitable investment advice by Benitez concerning a managed investment account. The complaint alleges that the SunTrust Investment Services account was not suitable for the customer.

This is not the first time that Benitez has been accused of wrongdoing by a customer of a securities broker dealer. FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Benitez’s activities in which the customer sought compensatory damages based upon allegations of unauthentic account opening documents.

Benitez has also been discharged by former employer JP Morgan Chase Bank supported by allegations of him failing to make records of the funding of a customer’s investment account. The securities broker dealer also alleged that Benitez failed to produce a letter confirming a trust account liquidation.

Benitez’s registration with SunTrust Investment Services has been terminated as of October 2, 2018. He has been registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services since September 27, 2018.
