Patricia Lynn Sans (also known as Patricia Lynn Coleman), of West Palm Beach, Florida, a stockbroker associated with Morgan Stanley, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $240,000.00 in damages. The customer alleged that Sans made unsuitable recommendations of options, municipal bonds, stocks, and equities. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-03096 (October 31, 2022).
This is not the first time that Sans has been involved in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning her conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure indicates that Sans was also involved in a customer initiated investment related complaint that was settled on April 8, 2004, for $16,627.42 in damages. Sans allegedly provided unsuitable advice about an annuity during the time that she was associated with Merrill Lynch.
Sans has been associated with Raymond James Associates Inc. in West Palm Beach, Florida since September 14, 2018, as a stockbroker broker and since September 20, 2018, as an investment adviser representative. Prior to this, she was associated with Morgan Stanley in West Palm Beach, Florida, from July 12, 2011, to September 17, 2018.
