Michelle Elise Anthony (also known as Michelle Elise Murphy-Wall), of Tucson, Arizona, a stockbroker registered with Centaurus Financial Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages based upon alleged breach of fiduciary duty, misrepresentation, and the unsuitable investment recommendation of corporate bonds when Anthony was associated with Centaurus Financial Inc. On March 15, 2024, another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Anthony’s conduct was settled for $59,709.66 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable recommendations. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01793. Anthony was also referenced in a complaint filed on July 28, 2023, in which the customer requested $117,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable advice about illiquid and risky real estate securities. The complaint was closed with no further action taken by the customer.
