Mark Ryan Bierdeman of Fargo, North Dakota, a stockbroker registered with Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., has been fined $2,500.00 by State of Minnesota Department of Commerce because Bierdeman made unsuitable recommendations in connection with the replacement of a customer’s life insurance policy. Order No. 2909 (November 17, 2022).

Public Disclosure shows that Bierdeman is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $23,185.00 in damages based upon allegations that Bierdeman made unsuitable recommendations, was negligent, made misrepresentations of material fact, and breached his fiduciary duties in connection with the sale of variable life insurance policies during the time that Bierdeman was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 09-05992 (August 3, 2010).

Bierdeman has been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC as a stockbroker since January 1, 1997, and as an investment advisor representative since April 12, 2000.
