Marc Frederick Korsch of Sarasota Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with Centaurus Financial Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought $100,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that they had been invested in unsuitable investments including real estate securities and direct investments because of Korsch and Centaurus Financial. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 20-03603 (Oct. 29, 2020). The claim alleges a breach of fiduciary duty that resulted in damages to the Centaurus customer.
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Korsch has been identified in additional customer initiated investment related disputes regarding allegations of his misconduct when associated with Centaurus Financial and Trustmont Financial Group Inc. On June 5, 2019, a customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Korsch’s conduct in which the customer requested $53,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of misrepresentations by the stockbroker as it pertained to the customer’s investments in real estate securities through Centaurus Financial between August of 2014 and May of 2019.
Korsch is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer was awarded $848,002.31 in compensatory damages and $100,000.00 in punitive damages based on Trustmont Financial Group being found liable on the customer’s causes of action. The Statement of Claim alleges negligent supervision by Trustmont Financial Group as it pertained to a real estate investment trust and two annuity exchanges. According to the Statement of Claim, there was a breach of fiduciary duty and a breach of contract. Transactions were allegedly unsuitable and misrepresented by the stockbroker. The customer was allegedly defrauded.
Korsch’s stockbroker and investment adviser representative registrations with Centaurus Financial Inc. have been terminated as of February 5, 2021. Since March 1, 2021, he has been registered as a stockbroker of Arkadios Capital.
