John N. Girgis of New York New York is a stockbroker formerly registered with Legend Securities Inc. who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint which settled for nearly ten thousand dollars in damages founded on allegations that the customer was charged excessive commissions for over-the-counter equities transactions executed in the customer’s account.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that on February 4, 2010, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Girgis’ activities, in which the customer requested $5,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that the customer’s margin was utilized without the customer’s authorization, and over-the-counter equities trades had been effected without the customer’s consent during the time that Girgis was associated with J.P. Turner & Company LLC.
Girgis’ registration with Legend Securities, Inc. was terminated on November 9, 2016. On November 4, 2016, Girgis became registered with Worden Capital Management LLC. Since August 29, 2005, Girgis has been associated with six different broker dealers, two of which have been expelled by securities regulators for violation of federal securities laws or are otherwise defunct.
