Larry Richard Hancock, of Federal Way, Washington, a stockbroker associated with Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments and president of Proactive Retirement Solutions, is the subject of a pending customer initiated investment related complaint filed on July 3, 2024. The complaint alleged unsuitable recommendations in real estate investment trusts (REITs) purchased through Proactive Retirement Solutions, and held at the securities broker dealer’s custodian, Schwab. The securities broker dealer has determined the amount to be more than $5,000. The dispute remains pending, and no settlement has been reached.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Hancock has also been involved in a prior customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim. The allegations centered on unsuitable investment recommendations in variable annuities and REITs when Hancock was associated with Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-04087. The matter was settled on September 20, 2022, for $17,500, with no individual contribution from Hancock.
Hancock was associated with Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments from December 2010 to January 2020 in Albany, New York. His current employment includes his role as president of Proactive Retirement Solutions and his association with Integrated Wealth Concepts LLC, a registered investment adviser firm based in Waltham, Massachusetts, since January 2024.
