Kyung H. Song, of East Hills, New York, a stockbroker registered with MML Investors Services LLC, has been permitted to resign on November 8, 2023, based upon allegations that Song engaged in securities-related activity with a perspective customer in violation of firm policy. The securities broker dealer also reported allegations of Song defrauding the customer while assisting on an account transfer. His activities reportedly involved stock transactions as well as Coinbase, a cryptocurrency platform.

This is not the first issue concerning Song’s conduct in the securities industry. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Song is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on October 13, 2023, in which the customer requested $82,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Song defrauded her out of $77,000.00 during the time that Song was associated with MML Investors Services LLC. The complaint was closed with no further action taken by the customer as of November 9, 2023.

Song was associated with MML Investors Services LLC in East Hills, New York from March 25, 2017, to November 27, 2023.
