Kurt Douglas Cambier, of Littleton, Colorado, a stockbroker registered with Cambridge Investment Research Inc., was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $67,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Cambier made unsuitable investment recommendations in real estate securities and direct investments (DPPs and LPs) when Cambier was associated with Cambridge Investment Research Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-03131 (March 24, 2023).

This is not the first time that Cambier faced a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning his conduct in the securities industry. Public Disclosure shows that on May 11, 2023, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Cambier’s conduct. The claim alleged high fees and commissions from Cambier’s recommendations of direct investments and oil and gas investments at Cambridge Investment Research Inc., depriving the customer of reasonable returns from a diversified investment portfolio. Since August 11, 2008, Cambier has been associated with Cambridge Investment Research Inc. as a stockbroker and associated with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors Inc. as an investment advisor representative.
