Justin Walt Parker of Del Mar, California, a stockbroker registered with Hilltop Securities Inc. is the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint on March 18, 2021, where the customer requested $280,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that Parker made unsuitable recommendations in connection with the sale of municipal bonds when Parker was associated with Hilltop Securities Inc.
This is not the first time that Parker has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Parker’s activities in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Parker is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint on August 28, 2017, where the customer sought $5,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Parker made misrepresentations and omissions in connection with the recommendation and sale of unit investment trusts during the time that Parker was associated with Hilltop Securities Inc.
Parker is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint that was settled on November 1, 2018, for $100,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that Parker excessively traded and made misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations in connection with the sale of unit investment trusts when Parker was associated with Hilltop Securities Inc.
On May 13, 2019, another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Parker’s conduct was settled for $400,000.00 in damages based upon alleged churning, elder abuse, unsuitable transactions, breach of fiduciary duty, excessive trading, and misrepresentations in connection with the recommendation and sale of unit investment trusts and municipal bonds when Parker was associated with Hilltop Securities Inc. Parker’s registration with Hilltop Securities Inc. was terminated on December 15, 2017. Parker was also registered with Kestra Investment Services LLC from October 1, 2021, to February 3, 2022.
