Jordan Stuart Berlin of Bedford Corners New York a stockbroker and investment adviser representative of FSC Securities Corporation is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim which was settled for $87,500.00 in damages based on allegations of negligence concerning real estate investment trusts (REITs) that Berlin sold while he was employed by FSC Securities. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-03680 (March 9, 2021). According to the claim, FSC Securities failed to supervise Berlin’s REIT sales, resulting in damages to the customer.

This is not the first time that a customer of a securities broker dealer voiced concerns about Berlin’s sales practices. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that on August 16, 2016, a customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Berlin’s conduct where they sought compensatory damages founded upon accusations of Berlin providing unsuitable investment recommendations to them as it pertained to equity trades in their FSC Securities account and to the selection of a third party money manager.

Berlin was registered as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. between November 3, 2016, and November 28, 2018. Since October 25, 2019, he has been registered with Wilmington Capital Securities LLC as a stockbroker.
