Jonathan Eric Ellefson (also known as Jon Ellefson) of Harker Heights, Texas, a stockbroker registered with Intervest International Equities Corporation, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $373,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ellefson breached his fiduciary duties, effected unsuitable transactions, and made misrepresentations and omissions of material facts in conection with the recommendation and sale of GWG Holdings Class L bonds when Ellefson was associated with Intervest International Equities Corporation. On May 21, 2015, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Ellefson’s conduct in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ellefson made misrepresentations with regard to the recommendation and sale of alternative investments when Ellefson was associated with Intervest International Equities Corporation.
On February 12, 2018, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Ellefson’s conduct was settled for $125,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ellefson made unsuitable transactions in connection with the recommendation and sale of equipment leasing products when Ellefson was associated with Intervest International Equities Corporation. Ellefson is also referenced in a FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $145,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ellefson committed sales practice violations concerning the recommendation and sale of equipment leasing products, mutual funds, and real estate securities when Ellefson was associated with Intervest International Equities Corporation.
