Joel Lansat of Palm Beach Gardens Florida a stockbroker currently registered with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner Smith Incorporated is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on April 9, 2020 in which the customer sought compensatory damages based upon accusations that unauthorized trades were effected in the customer’s Merrill Lynch investment account between February of 2020 and March of 2020.
Lansat has been referenced in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes concerning allegations of his harmful activities while employed by Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Lansat’s activities was resolved for $24,900.00 in damages founded on accusations of unauthorized trades and unsuitable recommendations which caused the customer to experience damages on their unit investment trust and municipal debt purchases.
On December 4, 2017, an additional customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Lansat’s conduct where the customer requested compensatory damages supported by allegations that they were not provided with accurate information relating to their variable annuity purchase through Lansat at Merrill Lynch.
Lansat has been registered with Merrill Lynch as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative since February 18, 2014.
