Jeffrey Tyler Shaver, of Atlanta, Georgia, a stockbroker registered with Arkadios Capital, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $1,000,000.00 in damages based on allegations of stockbroker negligence, overconcentration, and the unsuitable investment recommendation of alternative investments and real estate securities. Arkadios Capital settled this matter for $82,500.00 in damages on July 26, 2023. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-00441.

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Shaver has been referenced in four other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning his conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On July 24, 2023, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Shaver’s conduct, and the case was settled for $90,00.00 in damages. The allegations included unsuitable recommendations and negligence in connection with the sale of alternative investments during Shaver’s time with Triad Advisors. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-00441.

On May 2, 2012, a different customer filed an investment related complaint in which the customer requested $20,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable recommendations in direct investments (direct participation program interests and limited partnership interests) given the illiquidity of the investments during the time that Shaver was associated with Triad Advisors.

On December 8, 2005, a customer filed an investment related complaint requesting $5,000.00 in damages, alleging unsuitable advice in high-risk stocks for IRAs while Shaver was associated with A.G. Edwards Sons Inc. The case was settled for $7,470.26.

Also, on October 22, 2001, a customer initiated an NASD Arbitration Claim alleging fraud while Shaver was with A.G. Edwards Sons Inc. On September 14, 2004, a NASD Arbitration Panel issued an award requiring Shaver to pay $2,749.00, and A.G. Edwards Sons Inc. to pay $6,874.00 in compensatory damages to the customer.

Shaver was associated with Arkadios Capital from March 21, 2017, to March 25, 2022, and with Triad Advisors Inc. from May 20, 2009, to April 4, 2017, both in Atlanta, Georgia.
