Jason R. Watson of Philadelphia Pennsylvania a stockbroker formerly associated with Voya Financial has been identified in a customer initiated investment related complaint on June 13, 2019 where the customer sought unspecified damages founded on accusations that the customer was defrauded and exposed to phony sales practices relating to the customer’s purchase of a universal life insurance policy.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Watson has been referenced in three more customer initiated investment related disputes concerning accusations of his improprieties when the stockbroker was associated with New England Securities and Voya Financial.
On August 5, 2014, a customer initiated investment related complaint in reference to Watson’s conduct was resolved for $11,785.00 in damages based upon accusations that the customer was placed into improper life insurance contracts when Watson was associated with New England Securities.
On April 21, 2017, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Watson’s conduct had been settled for $20,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of the breach of fiduciary duty owed to the customer by Watson when he was employed by Voya Financial. The claim also alleges that misrepresentations were fraudulently made by the stockbroker pertaining to a fixed index annuity sold to the customer. FINRA Arbitration No. 16-01431.
