Davis Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee, a stockbroker registered with IFP Securities LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $42,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Davis breached his fiduciary duties and violated securities laws in connection with the sale of corporate bonds during the time that Davis was associated with IFP Securities LLC. The claim alleged omissions of material facts concerning the risks of investing in GWG Holdings Class L Bonds. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01719 (November 20, 2023).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Davis’s sales practices have been questioned by another investor. On October 16, 2023, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Davis’s conduct was settled for $125,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Davis violated state laws and FINRA rules in connection with the sale of corporate bonds when Davis was associated with IFP Securities LLC. The claim also alleged breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract concerning GWG Holding Class L Bonds. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01693.

Davis has been associated with IFP Securities LLC in Columbia, Tennessee since May 22, 2019. Additionally, Davis has been registered with Independent Financial Partners in the same location since November 10, 2016. Previously, Davis was associated with LPL Financial LLC in Franklin, Tennessee from April 14, 2010, to May 23, 2019, as both a stockbroker and an investment adviser representative.
