Howard Hao-Chung Hsieh (also known as Hao-Chung Howard Hsieh), of Irvine, California, a stockbroker registered with Cetera Investment Services LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities when Hsieh was associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-02957 (December 27, 2022).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Hsieh is referenced in eight other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Hsieh’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers, including Cetera Investment Services LLC. On October 8, 2021, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Hsieh’s conduct in which the customer requested $750,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities. On November 24, 2021, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Hsieh’s conduct was settled for $450,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of REITs.

Hsieh is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $290,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh breached a contract and violated state securities laws in connection with the sale of real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-01788 (April 27, 2022).

On December 8, 2022, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Hsieh’s conduct in which the customer requested $300,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02806.

Hsieh was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on August 19, 2020, in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Hsieh made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of real estate securities.

On May 2, 2022, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Hsieh’s conduct was settled for $25,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh recommended REITs which poorly performed.

Hsieh is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $120,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations, breached his fiduciary duties, was negligent, and failed to supervise certain registered representatives in connection with the sale of real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01094 (June 22, 2022).

Hsieh has been associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC in Irvine, California, as a stockbroker since March 8, 2013, and has been associated with Cetera Investment Advisers LLC in Irvine, California, as an investment advisor representative since January 21, 2014.
