Howard Hao-Chung Hsieh of Irvine, California, a stockbroker registered with Cetera Investment Services LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $60,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh was negligent, breached his fiduciary duties, overconcentrated accounts in certain investments, and made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities during the time that Hsieh was associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01094 (June 30, 2023). The claim also alleges that the securities broker dealer failed to supervise his activities.

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Hsieh is referenced in eight other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Hsieh’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On September 13, 2021, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Hsieh’s conduct in which the customer requested $2,250,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities when Hsieh was associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC. On November 24, 2021, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Hsieh’s conduct was settled for $450,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh made unsuitable recommendations of REITs.

Hsieh was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $290,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh violated state securities laws and breached a contract in connection with the sale of real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-01788 (April 27, 2022).

On May 2, 2022, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Hsieh’s conduct was settled for $25,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh recommended real estate securities which poorly performed for the Cetera Investment Services LLC customer.

Hsieh is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $300,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hsieh provided unsuitable advice about real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02806 (December 9, 2022).

On December 23, 2022, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Hsieh’s conduct in which the customer requested compensation based upon alleged unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02957.

Hsieh has been associated with Cetera Investment Services LLC as a stockbroker since March 8, 2013, and as an investment advisor representative since January 21, 2014.
